This letter is as far from a statement of neutrality as can be imagined NO mention of #hostages which include children and women who have been held for over 100 days without any access to @ICRC NO mention of the genocidal attacks on #Oct7 & #Hamas’ avowed intention to continue these NO mention of the 1000s of rockets that have been fired from #Gaza not the ongoing terror attacks in #Israel. NO mention of the need for the safety of #Israeli citizens NO mention of the numbers of terrorists that are included in those death tolls - at least 9000. Hamas counts everyone as a civilian NO mention that virtually every hospital, every school, every mosque in Gaza has been shown to be a base for weapons & attacks NO mention of Egypt’s increasing blockade of Gaza & their newly reinforced border wall NO mention that Hamas uses (by its own admission) civilians as human shields NO mention that Hamas steals aid (and has done for years with the complicity of the @UN & @UNRWA) - the current aid going in plus it uses the aid as a cover to smuggle weapons in & terrorists out Clearly the BMA is hoping to so alienate its #Jewish members that you will become a #Jewfree environment where your #Jewhatred can run free Where are your neutrality statements on the 85,000 children starved to death in #Yemen; or the 5.4 million people displaced & facing a massive #humanitarian crisis in #Sudan?
