Adjustments to Reduce Non-Participation in Dungeons in Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary
We’ve observed a significant number of Burning Crusade players entering dungeons and then participating in no meaningful gameplay, often while only one party member plays through the instance. When this is prominent, it can lead to detrimental economic effects, among other concerns, so we’re implementing a series of hotfixes to address it.
- Players must participate in combat to receive experience from dungeons.
- The amount of loot dropped by non-boss enemies in high-level dungeons is now determined by how many players participate in the kill.
The vast majority of players who participate in dungeon groups as usual should see no difference after these updates.
These changes will go into effect with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region.

@RevelryinFilth @Typerighting From what many have gathered, Haranir seem to have been meant for TWW but had to be cobbled together in to the Midnight story. The race itself is compelling but it's built on a very unfortunate foundation.

Bungie deserves to be shut down. Bungie deserves to go under and be totally absorbed by Sony. Bungie is literally the first company in video game history to retroactively delete hundreds of dollars worth of content people purchased. World of Warcraft has been around for over a decade longer than destiny 2 and has never had to delete part of its own game because of “data bloat.” Which is a pathetic excuse considering the game has DOZENS OF GIGABYTES OF UNCOMPRESSED MUSIC FILES. Bungie literally ROBBED players of data THEY PURCHASED, then turned its flagship game into a cash shop. You open D2 and it goes straight to eververse. They present themselves as some anti-capitalist progressive company. Meanwhile they have now settled TWO LAWSUITS OVER IP THEFT. 1 FOR DESTINY 2 AND ONE FOR MARATHON. It’s a joke and the whole org needs to be gutted by Sony. I hope marathon fails so it bankrupts those frauds and makes every developer there that worked to delete content they stole from players go to the unemployment line. Fuck Bungie for what they did. The people that made halo are long gone and it’s a hollow of its former self.
