For a long time, it really felt like Xbox just doesn’t care about halo to even have it show to millions of people for their directs
But we need halo to be shown, not because for anything new, but to show if Xbox really gives a shit for the franchise that created them 25 years ago

Sunday, June 7 is locked in. Xbox Games Showcase 2026 is almost here with a deep dive into Gears of War: E-Day Direct. In my first month, I heard clearly that our community values Xbox FanFest. As part of the return of Xbox, we made the decision to bring it back to LA to recognize the players who’ve been with us over the years. Looking forward to celebrating together!

There are few things I’ve seen more tone deaf than people asking for exclusive games on Xbox consoles in the year of our lord 2026.

You can listen to their conversations how Chief brings them hope and boost their morale just by being there

After Infinite whelming everyone, I think most fans finally tapped out.
Announcements now are met more with “whatever” or “we’ll see I guess” and the fans who do still care enough to give feedback are labeled as nitpicky or whiny. It’s just so tiresome. It’s a bit punishing to truly care for ATM.

This community is very easy to please. We jumped up and down for some classic marines and chief showing up again in 2018, or for the continued MCC support.
There will always be bad apples but I hate when people act like Halo fans are a rowdy bunch that are impossible to make happy. It just feels like the right decisions are never being made

This little bit of info that came out about the Halo CE Remake really reminded me why I've sorta just left Halo behind for the most part. It really gets demoralizing when every little bit of news surrounding one of my favorite franchises ever is rightfully consistently negative

You know what really killed Halo? People like this. Do you know how many people I’ve met who just said to me “Halo? Oh yeah that franchise sucks now” without having played the goddamn games.

I mean no offense by this, but people like you will probably be fine with what it looks like, no matter what. So I don’t see the point in injecting your “it’s not that deep” to people who clearly do care about Halo’s art.
If you like this quick n cheap hodgepodge, more power to you lol. Many of us think Halo CE deserves better
