@coachfowle They can't. No mechanism for getting people in late and out early. They'd have to close... adding another snow day for what could have been a "full day" as the state counts it

Most aggressive model with the Friday system is the NAM model, which honestly has preformed pretty well this winter. It shows light snow overnight ending as a brief mix here in DC. NWS has thrown out an early guess. If this plays out, issue would be more timing over the amounts.
