Dr. Fields is providing a great espresso version of her experience with the Gut Balancing program for her son affected with autism. There may be a significant time during this process that seems like things are getting worse. That's a scary moment, because you certainly did not plan to go backwards into more severe autism. The trust that she had in this process made her understand what this actually entails. 16s sequencing has the most complete bacterial libraries. @ZaharakisAlex developed a solid pipeline with the Gut Balancing system. Basically it tells you what bacteria are definitelt overly abundant (vs under-abundant). Then it uses targeted pre-and probiotics, herbs, other botanicals and nutraceuticals based on clinical experience and peer-reviewed research to target the individual's problem areas. Rinse and repeat. Stay consistent, work with someone to be there when times get rough, either your spouse, another parent, a family member or a practitioner. For those who did it all alone: you deserve a medal of freedom from the president. never stop believing like Dr. Fields. The other side can be very rewarding. And you will learn so much along the journey. @SecKennedy

Scientists gave 20 Alzheimer's patients creatine monohydrate for 8 weeks. This was the first clinical trial to test creatine in humans with Alzheimer's. What happened to their memory and cognition was extraordinary. Here's how remarkable creatine can be for your brain:

This past week I have been abruptly reminded how traumatic severe autism with all the co-occurring medical problems can be. 😬 My son's new doctor stated things perfectly in a report last month... "Sam's clinical output can look like a "behavior problem," but it is actually a biochemical storm." What's happening right now is not his choice to suddenly be self-injurious & aggressive. It's stressful for him & for us. It is criminal what was done to our children under the guise of preventative care. Until & if you can find & afford a Healthcare professional to help. And it's not usually a simple & easy fix. 🫤 How many parents are forced to use psych meds to deal with unaddressed medical issues that so frequently accompany "autism"? Criminal. When my son was younger we waited seven months to see the "best" GI doctor at the University of Chicago. She was the rudest most condescending doctor I had ever personally dealt with. She laughed in my face when I showed her a book about the SCD diet. "GOOD LUCK WITH THAT" she snorted. As @CombatingAutism so aptly stated... The standard of care for autism is medical neglect. Our kids were injured & pretty much abandoned by the mainstream Healthcare industry. I'll never get over the betrayal.

@awgaffney, your Harvard degree means nothing in an autism parents' world. You attack 2 moms on X? How about using your pretty resume to help these kids instead of choking on your important ego? Also: Hooker BS, Miller NZ. Analysis of health outcomes in vaccinated and unvaccinated children: Developmental delays, asthma, ear infections and gastrointestinal disorders. SAGE Open Medicine. 2020; This study analyzed data from three U.S. medical practices involving children born between 2005 and 2015. It reported that vaccination before 1 year of age was associated with increased odds of developmental delays (OR=2.18), asthma (OR=4.49), and ear infections (OR=2.13) compared to unvaccinated children.pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov Mawson MA, Ray BD, Bhuiyan AR, Jacob B. Pilot comparative study on the health of vaccinated and unvaccinated 6- to 12-year-old U.S. children. Journal of Translational Science. 2017;3(3):1-12. Based on a survey of homeschool families (N=666 children, 39% unvaccinated), vaccinated children were more likely to be diagnosed with allergic rhinitis (10.4% vs. 0.4%), pneumonia (6.4% vs. 1.2%), otitis media (19.8% vs. 5.8%), allergies, and neurodevelopmental disorders compared to unvaccinated peers.oatext.com Lyons-Weiler J, Thomas P. Ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone discovered in the mid-1970’s, plays a critical role in the treatment of a wide range of parasitic diseases in humans as well as in veterinary practice. Over the past decade, researchers have explored repurposing this molecule as an anticancer agent following the 2015 Nobel Prize in Medicine for the discovery of ivermectin by a researcher who pioneered the concept of looking for uses beyond antibiotics for biological activity in microorganisms. @theNCI is currently funding intramural research for this purpose.
