Ukraine’s defense against an unprovoked full-scale invasion from Vladimir Putin has now entered its fifth year. Vladimir Putin is responsible for the gravest security crisis on the European continent since World War II. The Bush Institute continues to believe that now is the time to stop him – and to do so, the U.S. must continue its support of Ukraine.

Pete Hegseth isn’t just blurring the line between church and state — he’s turning the Pentagon into a command center for a holy war.
By bringing in pastors from the Christian Nationalist movement to preach about “overwhelming violence” and denying “mercy” to America’s enemies, Hegseth is announcing something unmistakable:
The U.S. military is no longer being treated as an instrument of national policy.
It’s being repurposed as an arm of his personal religious crusade.

A pastor tied to Pete Hegseth joined a prayer calling for James Talarico to be killed, then cloaked it in scripture like that launders the poison. It doesn’t.
Talarico answered with four words, calm as a church bell in a storm: I still love you.
That’s the whole indictment of Christian Nationalism right there. One side treats political opponents like enemies to be spiritually erased. The other refuses to surrender either conviction or humanity. That is what confidence looks like. Not holy rage. Not performative persecution. Just enough moral clarity to meet hatred without becoming it.

My dad is driving to DC for the first time since my mom died in Jan and he hit a deer. He called @AAA_Travel for help and a tow & they asked to speak to my mother. He informed them she just died & they said he can’t use the policy then & left a 70 year old grieving man stranded
