@RogueLikely @LullabyLorelai Second, the cheaper Switch in Japan was sold because of the weak yen compared to the dollar. For a Japanese person, with a Japanese salary it cost the same as the international price version does for us.

And the craziest part is that not that long ago the Fable devs were swearing up and down that the game wasn’t getting delayed, while also casually mentioning they were still hiring people to work on it. Like… pick a struggle. If your game has been in development for seven years (probably closer to ten if you count pre-announcement work) and you’re STILL staffing up? Yeah, that game is either in development hell or it’s about to be the most aggressively mid experience mankind has ever witnessed.

@MyChudLife Keep in mind that you never lose access to your PC library. Your game follow you onto new hardware. This has been the eternal war between PC and console. If console fans could look beyond the initial purchase, literally every aspect is better for the consumer on PC.

@RogueLikely in the long term yeah probably, but as it stands rn the whole switch 2 library along with the system costs less than the steam deck

@anomyanomie @ArcherThrone @MyChudLife Would you have access to all of the things I listed above on a modded switch 1? No, you wouldn't, and I know because I have a modded switch 1. You can play exclusively pirated switch 1 games and emulate retro systems. That's about it.
