I have listened to Tucker’s podcast concerning Israel and I think he makes good points against them but who gives a shit about Islam? That’s my big issue with the anti zog crowd. They can’t just be against Jews running America they for whatever reason have to champion the browns that Israel is fighting. How about fuck both of them?

@cloneristic 1979 is one of the greatest songs of the 90s and will remain timeless as long as teenagers are able to have some amount of fun in the chaos of youth.

Cobain's brand of disaffected, angsty malaise is dated, not only to the time period but to a certain stage of life. It's hard to relate to it legitimately as you get older, except as a faded memory of a time when you didn't really have the problems you thought, if only because worse ones were brewing to make them look like luxury indulgences. Smashing Pumpkins has a lot of bittersweet sentimental nostalgia involved (think Tonight, Tonight, 1979) that is more timeless. It makes Nirvana look like a trite posture in retrospect that seemed cool at the time. And kind of still is. But to stay in that space you pretty much do have to kill yourself young, or you'll grow out of it. Interesting to note that almost all of the 90's doomer grunge guys ended up killing themselves for real. Maybe a decade or two "too late" but they still did it. When keeping it real goes wrong? Consider the alternative... But in that sense even Foo Fighters is ultimately deeper than Nirvana, while superficially appearing the opposite. That doesn't mean they're better per se. The quirk chungus vibe is as annoying as Corgan's self important, fart huffing, middle class coded radio rock douche canoe aura. Nirvana at least had a somewhat grittier aesthetic. You really could imagine listening to this shit on your tape deck walkman while living underneath a literal bridge zonked out on smack. Just be glad Cobain spared us the middle aged wine aunt turbolib version of himself. That part was for the best at least. Trotting around a gaggle of transkids and bitching at you to get vaxxed. The latter is what dumbass Dave Grohl ended up doing which probably killed Foo Fighter's drummer with a randomly exploded heart double the normal size, just like happened to Bob Saget for that matter. Sometimes dead is better. Let sleeping dogs lie.

Nirvana’s music does not stand the test of time. But the Smashing Pumpkins does. So ultimately Billy Corgan won out against Kurt Cobain. Nirvana was hugely popular but I never listen to it anymore. I find Smashing Pumpkins more musical and listenable. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is a truly great album. Nirvana’s best was probably Unplugged. What say you @batcountry1980 ?

I'd like to once again state that due to the demographic shift in most euro countries they will, within the next 4 decades, become nuclear armed caliphates. Because of this threat to America's future we should launch a total pre-emptive nuclear strike on the entire continent.

The executive branch can kidnap a head of state, extract downed pilots via building airstrips under fire, and send men to the moon, all within four months. The legislature hasn't passed a regular budget in 15 years and the judiciary is arguing over whether citizenship exists.

I saw a post months ago about a Raytheon engineer who was complaining that they couldn’t fill hardware jobs. I thought they were lying, so I went to their LinkedIn. I expected to see 100’s of applications for every job, but I saw 3. That's when I realized that we’ve offshored the entire industry to China. Not defense, but all of the tertiary industries that would train people who would eventually work in defense. Training for defense does not happen in the defense industry. It happens in companies all across America. If you offshore those, you will eventually starve the defense industry of the manpower it needs. This isn’t the 50’s where people stayed at companies forever. People move. If they can’t get the same jobs elsewhere, especially smart people, they transition to the civilian roles that are available and we lose the talent we need. Once I noticed it, it was impossible to not see it, and it's happening across many sectors - from embedded systems to mechanical tooling. And now, the IT industry. It's almost identical to what happened to the construction industry in the 80's. My grandfather worked for $25/hr in California in the late 70's and early 80's. By the mid 90's, I was lucky to get $10. Congress isn't smart enough to notice the problem until it's too late. @SenMikeLee is a prime example of this. He pushed H1Bs for decades, and now that the damage is done, he's calling for a "pause." It's a slow unremitting, and inexorable disaster for the US, and I will shout it from the rooftops until somebody listens. Not that I ever expect anybody to listen. I don't think most people can even see it when it's explained to them.
😊 A healthy+Happy New year.@sanren202512

It is not too late, the top weapon making companies in USA never replaced 50% of its engineers with Indian cheap workers because they need to keep the quality of their weapons. But if they used other company IT products which made by cheaper replaced 3rd world workers in future it will impact the quality of weapons.
