Just ordered Fairies A History by ‘UK-based historian and folklorist’ Francis Young, who ‘specialises in the history of religion and belief’… looks like something Tolkien fans would want to read.

@ECLChristy I like the wide scope and endless possibilities. Plus I can make everything up.

What do I love most about writing fantasy? Allowing the stories and characters to take me on amazing adventures where everything is possible, magic is real, bad guys get their comeuppance, and a soul searching lesson is learnt. Why do you write in your genre?

@sharm42453 Revenge of the Sith, because every time I watch it, I know a little more lore or I've seen and read other things, so it hits harder.

@uniquemoviemom I was so impressed at how much the balrog looked the way I pictured it. It really carried the dread I felt when reading the book.

The Balrog remains the greatest CGI creation I have ever seen. Nothing even comes close. The whole Mines of Moria section is one of the greatest pieces of cinema. It is absolutely bloody brilliant. The golden eye of cinema

@itsdylanmercer I used Word when I was little, then Google Docs in high school. Now I use Scrivener.
