When you're sick, you have two choices: 1. Go to an average GP or 2. Talk with a top AI model. What should you do? "I would always do the models, then figure out who to see" - @ShivdevRao "It is becoming clear that the models are better on average" - @Jason

Well, yeah, unless you understand how insurance is played and how EHR records are played, like I had a conversation yesterday with the UC ship admin, you can't get shit done. Epic is so deeply entrenched in most prior auth and payment workflows, and their coding is so vague for payment billables, it's actually crazy. It's a very, very ineffective software.

AI might be the last hope for many of America's healthcare problems, from doctor burnout to skyrocketing costs. The industry has been adopting AI at a relatively quick pace, but there's still massive room for growth.

Modern medicine has a "math" problem: doctors have become glorified data entry clerks, leading to record-high resignation rates. The fix: putting the focus back on the patient, not the keyboard. People will always be wary of new technology - like the internet, phones and AI It’s easy to identify the harm a new technology could cause, but it’s much harder to find its beneficial side effects. People are afraid AI will take their jobs - their livelihood. At the same time, AI is saving lives by discovering cancer treatments that no scientist has discovered before!
