@athenaeumbc Look at the states with the lowest illiteracy rates. Guarantee they have also have the lowest percentage of immigrants.

About 54% of U.S. adults (ages 16-74) — roughly 130 million people — read below a 6th-grade level. Why does nobody talk about this?

Frozen pizza has got surprisingly good over the years, especially from the smaller companies making high-heat, low-time, wood fire imitation pizza. Many times better than restaurants for about 1/6 the price. That’s my current hobby, what’s the pizza frozen pizza?

@glass_it @WangNextDoor2 Financial illiteracy could be to blame. Bite the bullet, buy something and in a few short years you have equity. You need to start somewhere. Most aren’t willing to adjust their standard of living to achieve their goals. I don’t feel sorry for them

@Thoughtsfromct @WangNextDoor2 The problem isn't a 30 year commitment. It's that we don't get the same shot previous generations did. Imagine signing a 30 year commitment where you have to commit more than 30% of your income to your home. Makes Mamdani taxing wealthy second home owners seem like small fries.

@soldtinator @WangNextDoor2 Open up Zillow. There are tons of affordable homes. But guess what, you have to commute like we all did when we were starting out. Inconceivable to most of these kids. My nephew rents for over $ 2000 a month. He could’ve purchased a home further away and had equity by now.

@Thoughtsfromct @WangNextDoor2 Fuck off. When I was young I could easily buy a house from my starting salary as a software developer. Nowadays people pay more than half of their salary on housing costs. All that money is wasted on bricks.

@luvaendel @WangNextDoor2 She admits she could afford a home, it’s just not in the area she wants. Well that’s life. You are what you can afford.

@Ewa_ocheee @WangNextDoor2 And do you know the reason? We lived in small 3 bedroom ranches, one bathroom for the entire house. Kids out of college would never even consider living in those homes. And you also don’t remember mortgage rates at 13% or 15% in the 70s.

@Thoughtsfromct @WangNextDoor2 The older generation were able to afford houses on whatever job they worked. The younger generation don’t have it same because those who enjoyed a great economy made it worse for others.

@WangNextDoor2 And sorry, she’s from China and capitalism isn’t for everyone. She needs to go back to her communist roots where she doesn’t have to compete. Also this is probably just an anti western propaganda video approved by the home country.

@josh_hammer @MaxNordau It’s disturbing how many on the right and the lunatic left have fallen for this islamic movement. Sure many, if not most, peddling this filth are bots or attention whores. But knowing there are some true converts is scary.

Tucker Carlson is now leading an effort to promote Islam on the Right. He's even trying to harmonize Christianity and Islam. Good luck with that. The reality is simple: Islam has warred with Christendom and the West since its inception. My new column 🖋️ newsweek.com/hey-tucker-chr…

@elonmusk Should a society that requires UBI also worry about stagnant population? You’re proposing a world where humans are almost unnecessary. Also, wouldn’t UBI just be inflationary?

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

I max dosed psyllium husk but did not expect this. For the past 28 days, I've maxed out on psyllium husk, taking two tablespoons 3x a day, and it's quietly changed my life. Here's what it did to my body:

This is why you should never try to be all things to all people as a politician JD Vance’s inauthenticity is his fatal flaw…he’s a political chameleon He tried very hard not to offend the Tucker Carlson/Candace Owens crowd, and they still turned against him

Being vegetarian isnt a “political view” and 1/4 cup of heavy cream is 30-60 cents

@codytriesstuff Well hopefully she revisits all her political views. $2 to make. Your lucky cost me $2 just for the cream.
