I was privileged to judge a poster contest with the 6th grade @MetropolitanELS to promote the planned Queensway, a 3.5 mile linear park & beautiful open space. The winning poster will be used in materials to inform the community about the park. Congrats to the winner!

NYC’s treatment of kids with special needs is a disgrace - endless layers of bureaucracy, unacceptably long bus rides, lack of schools outside of Manhattan, etc. TY @KeithPowersNYC & @RitaJosephNYC for fighting for these kids and their families. nytimes.com/2024/12/06/nyr…
