One cool feature for @SlackHQ would be to allow us to combine/merge messages into threads. When people don't realize they are not in one they end up accidentally spamming different channels.

Looking for some amazing designer: Someone who will redesign our screen.studio website. We want it to feel like Apple landing pages, but with some unique personality. Do you know someone? Only extremely strong portfolios please

Designers need time, training and experience to become good. Senior designers aren’t born, they are made. 10 years from now companies will regret having this sort of mentality.

@dchernyshuk Sure, don’t hire juniors… in 10 years from now when you will need senior designers and won’t find any I want you to remember that you are part of the reason why.

@disco_lu I know one cannot speak to roadmap... but I'm wondering how CMS will play into the content that we place into our Figma, prototypes, sites, and integrates with Make/MCP. Cause if I had CMS today (not closed BETA), I'd likely be using Figma Sites to host our DS documentation

I haven't fully thought this through but... I think there's a lot of potential in using Figma Make embeds in Figma Design for inline and interactive design system documentation

Capping their wealth isn’t gonna help anyone. Regardless of how we feel about them making that much money, we do use their tax money for a lot of the things we get today. What we need to limit is their access to power via paycheques since we agreed that we live in representative democracies.

If democracy is to survive, at some point we will either have to figure out a way to limit the political power of obscenely rich people or alternatively come up with a hard cap on just how many billions a single human being can have, because this is becoming unsustainable.

No, it is just that we are falsely though that extremes live at oposite sides. Right and left opose, center-left and center-right share things in common while the far-left and the far-right are more alike than different especially because both are based on excesive control. The devil is in the the details when trying to differentiate the 2 making it clear that extremes are something we should always avoid. To be fair, ideologies are something we should avoid in general, problems are not solved with bullet points but we proper assessment and planning based on their specific circumstances.

If socialism and fascism are at the opposite ends of the political spectrum, then why do they overlap so much?

@upen946 I have made this mistake with each and every product I launched so far unfortunately. I wasn’t sure where I was going and felt too nervous to post about it… that didn’t help with growth, that’s for sure!

EasyRAG

EasyRAG came to be simply because other solutions were either super complex or just a great pile of demos. It has to be simple, easy to plug in, easy to maintain. It has to have enough but not be too bloated. easyrag.com/blog/researchs…
