@BilsonhBilson Thats not well thought out. There is very little change to fuel consumption. Tell me in simple terms how people are stock piling fuel? Even with 3-4 Jerry cans this is maybe an extra tank of fuel at best. Most people cannot even afford to stockpile fuel.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. Wow…Labour partially removing a double tax on something all Australians use. There should never have been both fuel excise and GST on fuel. But we know the only way government can prop up its inefficiencies is over taxation of everything Australian workers buy. They never overtax the multinationals reaping massive benefits from our minerals and fossil fuels.

Labor is halving the fuel excise which will cut 26.3c a litre off the cost of petrol and diesel, and dropping the heavy vehicle road user charge to zero.

True and as a father I am frustrated for my kids. The answer to this growing problem lies is how our government chooses to govern and the responsibility they take when spending tax payer dollars. Poorly run or fraudulent welfare system create more fraud and more dependence on welfare. A terrible feedback loop.
