@AsaadOfBengal @bangu_librarian @lowtierconbart3 @_Caged_ Hindustani, Hindi, and Urdu are all different names for the SAME language. Sanskritised Hindi is derived from Hindi/Urdu by removing Persian & Arabic by some sanghis ~150 years ago. This new language is now called "Hindi" and instated as the official language of India by hindus.

@Eagle220468 @Thesonderous @bangu_librarian @lowtierconbart3 @_Caged_ Urdu is a just an 18th century Turkish name for Hindustani/Hindi, a millennium old language. Sanskritised Hindi invented ~150 years ago is what you're thinking about because the hindus cunningly called this new language "Hindi" and made it the official language of India.

@JaiVeru12006 @bangu_librarian @lowtierconbart3 @_Caged_ it doesn't say that Urdu is a later LANGUAGE your own source literally states that Urdu is a later NAME for Hindustani/Hindi, learn to read, u hateful hindu Sanskritised Hindi - the official language of Republic of India, cunningly called "Hindi" by hindus - is a later language

@OurAqsa @Rustum_0 it is not dying, but getting mixed with English in colloquial language. literature, on the other hand, is unaffected all thanks to Islamic madrasas. though non-Islamic literature is losing its quality as it gets affected by the education system and colloquial language.

@McBeaner69 it is. objecting to "Urdu is mid" (clearly a hateful and/or indoctrinated laid with inferiority complex stance) is supremacism now?

@__chief____ It really isn’t since Islamic scholarship in the subcontinent has existed in local languages I’m not even anti-Urdu but this Urdu supremacism is just dumb especially in the modern age when Urdu has become even less relevant

@abeera_ehsan0 @kaleshiwasp @rorodiaryxo @nineteesgurl if u read closely u'll notice that I objected to one specific thing not to your stance in the wider discussion yes, anything other than nikah & walimah isn't part of Islam. but it can be permissible. feast given after nikah during barat can be considered (non-sunnah way) walimah

@__chief____ @kaleshiwasp @rorodiaryxo @nineteesgurl I will end the discussion on this " Walima is arranged by only groom's side and Barat/nikah arranged by bride's side" so it cannot be seem as a Walima. Only Nikah and a Walime dinner is valid if it is arranged by groom's side.

@kaleshiwasp @abeera_ehsan0 @rorodiaryxo @nineteesgurl > "Walima" just means dinner & Salah just means "to connect". some words become terms, you cannot then literally translate them. so this notion is incorrect. walimah literally means a banquet, but in Islam it's a term denoting a feast hosted by the groom to celebrate a wedding.

@abeera_ehsan0 @rorodiaryxo @nineteesgurl "Walima" just means dinner. You dont have to call the function walima. The emphasis is on giving a DINNER. Do you think the prophet meant you should have a big wedding function like a pakistani walima 😭😭😭 he meant FEEDING people not the actial function

@mahadnaseermrj @0rion_7 @properstrange 'nowadays' people mix English with Hindi/Urdu, coz sadly our education system is in Eng. But this is completely different than the topic of discussion in every language, literature is more formal. while people speak a watered down version of it. that doesn't make it 2 languages

@mahadnaseermrj @0rion_7 @properstrange are u not comprehending? of course Hindustani/Urdu/hindi and Sanskritised Hindi are two different languages. That's why I gave u a history lesson on actual Hindi shuddh is not a word in Hindi. This is sanskritised Hindi u're talking about, there's nothing 'pure' about this lang

@__chief____ @0rion_7 @properstrange well, lemme give an example ! Lets take the word Pure itself !... In Urdu, we use word 'khalis' for pure but in hindi, we use word 'shud' for pure ! but, people knows both of the words coz both are languages of the subcontinent BUT, as you can see two diff word, two diff lang...

@mahadnaseermrj @0rion_7 @properstrange this "pure hindi" is pure propaganda by India to give credibility to Sanskritised "Hindi". and pakistanis play right into this, knowingly, because they get to keep "Urdu" for themselves. Hindustani (Hindi-Urdu) is a mixture of Prakritik, Persian and Arabic. now, define "pure"

@abimikaeel "Wahhabi" is not a name of a sect, it's a pejorative. popularised by westerners, and now, bread and butter of barelvis. Al-Wahhab is Allah's name BTW. so when barelvis use "wahhabi" as an insult, they're actually insulting Allah. sad thing is many of them know about this.

Was Imam Ahmad a Wahabbi? How about Ibn Taymiyyah? Maybe Ibn al-Qayyim? What about Al-Barbahari? They all came before Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab so make it make sense lol

@mahadnaseermrj @0rion_7 @properstrange Urdu and [Spoken] Hindi are the same language. Official or 'Sanskritised' Hindi is a new (~150yo), completely different language that no one speaks. The states of Ind and Pak deliberately created this conflation/confusion of names in order to have a separate national identities

@0rion_7 @properstrange urdu and hindi are two diff languages with diff history and diff way of formation. for convenience, people of sub-continent have mixed these two and added a lot of words of english e.g. radio, television, etc...! if you listen to pure urdu and pure hindi, you will get the diff !

@bas3dp4ki and btw you said "odds" in your original tweet odds are a different concept than probability or fractions. probability of 'n to m' odds = n/(n+m) in your 1 to 0 odds, this becomes p = 1/(1+0) = 1 a perfect probability of 1 denoting absolute certainty!

@bas3dp4ki it is not 1/0 is (undefined) infinity 1/1 is 1 read again what I wrote u said "1 in 0", so that's more than 100% (i.e. 1/1) probability of occurrence. which is against the laws of nature AND probability theory. but rhetorically it may imply certainty beyond absolute certainty!
