I'll give $1000 to anybody who can prove to me, using the New Testament, that any of the Jewish disciples of Jesus renounced their Judaism.

I genuinely want Bethel Church to do the right thing in this scandal, so their statement last night offered a glimmer of hope. They’re at least treating this with some gravity. However, as they listen to the Holy Spirit and seek to honor Jesus, I want to identify the competing voices likely influencing their response and encourage them toward the one voice that matters most. The PR Voice will want to tell enough truth to make the drama disappear quickly. I suspect last night’s statement was crafted (or at least vetted) to buy breathing room. That’s not necessarily wrong, but it’s also not the same as full transparency. The Legal Voice will focus on mitigating liability. This is where things get tricky. Victims often want simple humility: “We messed up. We’re sorry. Please forgive us.” But legal counsel knows that genuine repentance can create legal exposure, so institutions default to vague language like “mistakes were made.” The Self-Justifying Voice will insist that critics don’t know the full story. Watch for implicit jabs at @MikeWingerii and others, criticism that’s vague enough to avoid accountability. My challenge: if you believe Mike Winger has sinned against you, be specific. Name it clearly, publicly or privately. There have been too many institutional insinuations of slander without substance. The Delaying Voice will suggest the initial statement has taken the sting out. Let the fervor die down. While wisdom sometimes requires time, delay is also a convenient shield for cowardice. The Missing Voice, the one I hope is actually at the table but wasn’t mentioned: Scripture itself. As they seek the Holy Spirit, I hope they’re seeking God’s voice through the clear biblical commands on church discipline. My one encouragement as they consider their response is to choose the humble and hard path of scripture over self protection. Please don’t try to manage the situation to make it go away. The quickest way for the hubbub to die down will be to choose obedience.

I'll be having a public debate with amillennialist Steve Gregg in March. Gregg may be the best representative of a supersessionist amillennialist view, imo. As for Partridge, if he is open, I'd be down. It would have to be later, perhaps in the summer of next year.

When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: “That man… that young man… I forgive him.”  That moment deeply affected me.  I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.” Peace be with you all.

@MikeWingerii @dalepartridge Some of the most prominent Dispensational teachers (Chuck Smith included) taught that the 7 churches represented 7 stages of church history, the last being the Laodecian church. Jesus would rapture a remnant; many (most) would be left behind. That is inherently fatalistic.

@dalepartridge I don’t think that such a conclusion is required by dispensational adherents. “Society will always get worse” just isn’t derived from the view, nor is it historically true.

You can’t watch Charlie Kirk’s funeral and hold the dispensational view that society will only get worse. It’s not going to get worse; it’s going to get better. To God be the glory.

It is unimaginably ignorant to call Charlie Kirk a racist for a very long list of documented facts and reasons that can easily be confirmed. Sound bites and clips out of context will never land you on truth in any situation. What kind of racist uses the money from his own organization to host an annual event called the Black Leadership Summit that is designed to recruit and train young black conservatives to become leaders in their communities and on college campuses? Most of the people who are calling him racist haven't changed anyone's life, black or otherwise. Dont preach the Gospel to anyone. Stays quiet on cultural topics for self-preservation while living for no one but themselves. I followed Kirk. Watched multiple hours of his videos and full conversations. Most people calling him a racist have not done so and are labeling him that in ignorance and emotions after he gets assassinated in front of the world.

Christianity Not Today. -“honed” attributes ill motives. -“died” minimizes assassination. Christianity Today has “died”— Charlie is alive with Christ today.

With a confrontational style honed for college campuses and social media, Charlie Kirk sought to renew America. The conservative political activist and founder of Turning Point USA died on Wednesday at age 31. christianitytoday.com/2025/09/died-c…

“WE DENY the claims in the prophetic history of the International House of Prayer, Kansas City. The mixture of lies, prophetic manipulations, and sexual improprieties from the architects of the prophetic history, Paul Cain, Bob Jones, and Mike Bickle, renders potentially true miracles or prophecies obsolete in usefulness. Trying to discern the truth claims of known liars is neither helpful, wise, nor needed.” - @send56 One of the many helpful “Affirmations and Denials on the whole Mike Bickle/IHOPKC Situation” by @JesseDigges and team. send56.org/statement-on-i… (Note it is formatted as a PDF so you may have to access it on a laptop)
