All four of the Artemis II astronauts have been successfully extracted from the Orion spacecraft following splashdown and are now on the USS John P. Murtha. Next up, they will be escorted to the medical bay where they will undergo post-mission medical evaluations.

How do we know if there has been regime change in Iran?
If the survivors who negotiate in Pakistan sing the same “we can keep/enrich uranium” tune as their predecessors, it’s not regime change.
If they say they control Hormuz, it’s not regime change.
If it’s the same as before, this isn’t over.

There is good reason to worry about the safety of our negotiators in Pakistan.
The country is armed and dangerous and the government is not fully in control.
Previous high level visits were short and they involved decoy aircraft, as when then-President Clinton surreptitiously changed airplanes so no one would know which one he was on. The USSS did not like President Bush going there in 2006.
The Secret Service will be tested this trip. So too will the military that supports this mission.
Pray for the safety of our negotiators, including the VP, and for their success.
