Nix on dignified. My incessant nag, which of the methods is the least painful and cruel. Each comes with argument. Killing by rifle round to the chest isn't painless. Hanging is fraught with worse and is worse than gunfire. Injection is paradigm intrusive and too 'tick-tocky'. Electrocution is barbaric. There is no clean kill. Yet we must kill some. Conundrum.

So reckless if true. Him and Thomas need to be responsible and go enjoy a well-earned retirement. I don't want their legacy becoming conservative versions of RBG. On SCOTUS, once you are over 75 (maybe even 70), you should retire the next time your side has Senate and White House. Because it could be 4-8 years before the next chance, and at that age, decline or death can be sudden.

@annbauerwriter There are certain professions where an individual's character warrants a higher degree of scrutiny than it otherwise would, and teacher is one of those professions.

Am I wrong to think that a teacher's entirely private life - in which they do nothing illegal or violent - is off limits when it comes to assessing their job performance? This guy did nothing in front of or near kids. I don't see why his stage performance is relevant.

Can someone explain why they don’t do breathalyzer testing anymore at the scene? It seems they all just do the field testing. I got pulled over 20 years ago and was asked immediately to blow because he thought he smelled alcohol. I had ONE beer and it came back fine. Not drunk. He let me go… Now I watch all these videos of them spending 30-45-1 hour just trying to figure out if they are drunk… just make them blow. Another thing, why didn’t they send him to the hospital and do a blood draw if there was any doubt??

Under birthright citizenship a Chinese tourist baby born in Los Angeles, who spends a few weeks in the USA getting a social security card and a passport, but who grows up entirely in Beijing is eligible to run for President of the United States. He would need to satisfy the 14 year residency requirement, but he could do that with college, grad school and then working for a while. Meanwhile someone like Elon Musk can never be POTUS no matter how much he contributes to the country.
