Here is the full, unedited debate on CACR12 today - our attempt to ban Income Taxes in New Hampshire. It needed 3/5ths to get sent to the ballot for voters to consider this November. Unfortunately, House Democrats voted no. You'll see a number of Democrats get up and claim they don't want one right now, but maybe they will one day, so we can't ban Income Taxes in New Hampshire. They even tried to make it so they could have a Progressive Income Tax in New Hampshire!

🇹🇼🇨🇳La Chine continue de couper les câbles sous-marins connectant Taïwan au reste du monde. Ces coupures ralentissent considérablement le débit internet dans un pays en plein boom économique. Une action de guerre hybride de la Chine qui envoie ses navires traîner leurs ancres sur les fonds marins afin d'endommager voire même carrément de rompre ces câbles. Plus de 95 % du trafic mondial de données passe par ces infrastructures invisibles. Pour Taïwan, puissance technologique et économique majeure, leur bon fonctionnement est vital. Lorsqu’un câble est sectionné, ce sont des connexions ralenties, des entreprises perturbées, et potentiellement des opérations financières ou industrielles critiques qui sont affectées. Dans un monde ultra-connecté, couper les câbles, c’est toucher directement au cœur du fonctionnement d’un pays. Surtout pour Taïwan et ses industries de semi-conducteurs comme TSMC qui sont largement responsables de la bonne santé économique de l'île. Dans ce contexte, Taïwan essaie d'éviter une escalade directe avec la Chine et développe ses propres capacités satellitaires, un peu dans le même style que Starlink, pour éviter de trop dépendre des câbles sous-marins à l'avenir. C'est un bon exemple pour illustrer comment la Chine perturbe la vie quotidienne des Taïwanais qui veulent juste vivre en paix. #Partenariat

The Chinese Communist Party has targeted sensitive sites surrounding military installations like Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota and Fort Bragg in North Carolina. A Chinese national was recently arrested after taking sensitive photos of airframes outside of Offutt Airforce Base last week. This is a serious national security threat. I introduced the bipartisan AFIDA Improvements Act to strengthen foreign ag land reporting. It increases transparency and information sharing. It would also require an online reporting portal for USDA.
