Fire everybody

It’s time to have a dialogue about the cost of domestic trips dawg. There’s no reason why a weekend trip to NOLA is costing me over a grand, months out

Last month, @TheAthleticFC released an updated list of their Top 60 #PL Players of All Time. Some highlights: - Wayne Rooney 9th - David Silva over Paul Scholes - Jamie Vardy over Ruud van Nistelrooy - Didn't name Nemanja Vidic... 👀😶 [via @sportbible]

A Swedish politician has said that the key to getting their economy back on track is by being less 'Spursy' 😳 🗣️ "I naturally think of Tottenham Hotspur, also known as Spurs. It is one of England's most distinguished clubs. A rich club with an enormous stadium. Everything to be considered a top team. Despite this, Tottenham find themselves in crisis, fighting at the bottom of the table. The club have been given the name 'Spursy' [which is] when you have opportunities but get no results. Madame Speaker, that is precisely how the Minister of Finance is handling the Swedish economy. The government risks making Sweden 'Spursy'. That won't do. Sweden cannot perform like Tottenham."

I'll be accused of being mean for this, but I'll just say that these were the best two games of the Warriors' season so far ... and Kuminga played 12 minutes in the 1st one and none in this one. I'm NOT saying he's a bad player or useless. I'm saying that this is worth noting.

Antoine Semenyo took out a full-page advert in the local newspaper to thank Bournemouth fans. Sergio Aguero gifted watches to more than 60 members of Manchester City staff and raffled off his Range Rover. But player exits do not always go well. From PR-crafted texts to the team WhatsApp group and careful message management to the fanbase... what's the right way to leave a football club? 📝 @GregOK 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/69937…
