I like some things, I don't like some other things but I don't care about most things.

Not enough people talk about Derek Jeter • .310/.377/.440 (.817 OPS), 115 OPS+ • 5x World Series Champ with NYY • 5x Gold Glover, 5x Silver Slugger • 71.3 WAR, 14x AS, 1996 AL ROY • 3465 hits (6th in MLB history) • 1408 DP turned by SS (6th) • 4717 times on base (13th) • 1923 runs scored (11th) • 6605 assists by SS (10th) • Averaged 204 hits per 162 • 870 XBH, 1311 RBI, 358 SB • 5.0+ WAR 6x, 3.0+ WAR 14x • Scored at least 100 runs 13x! • Played at least 150 games 13x • RHB-record 8x with 200+ hits • Never played anywhere but SS • Top Similarity Score: Craig Biggio • Captain of the New York Yankees • Named WS MVP in 2000 vs. NYM • Insanely prolific postseason hitter: • 22-11 in postseason series (158 GP) • 200 H, 111 RS, 57 XBH, 61 RBI, 18 SB • .308/.374/.465 postseason slash line • 302 postseason total bases, just nuts • Received 396 / 397 HOF votes in 2020 • Wore one number (#2) his entire career • (Last-ever single-digit Yankees number) • Invented the iconic jump throw vs Fryman • 2nd-most SS games, but 99th in SS errors • Executed "The Flip" in G3 of the 2001 ALDS • Perpetrated "The Dive" vs. BOS in July 2004 • Among players with at least -253 Rfield and 90% of their career appearances at shortstop, Derek Jeter is the all-time leader in Batting Runs by a tremendous margin, the only player to break 300 and 1 of 5 to even reach 200

Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan on WrestleMania IX and their personal issues: "In the end he was a backstabbing, knife-wielding piece of sh*t." Bret: "I remember walking up to him, I was like, ‘Hey Terry.’ I stood up with my hand out to shake his hand for about 30 seconds but he would’t even look at me. He just kept talking to Beefcake." Hogan: "I can’t imagine doing that intentionally. Maybe I had an off day. Maybe I was drunk, maybe I was high. I don’t know. I don’t know what to tell you, but it wouldn’t have been intentional." Bret: "I knew right then and there. I was like I’ve got the belt and I’ve got what he wants and I’m the enemy now.’ "That day I remember thinking what a step backwards. It was a whole different audience and they were liking me, not Hulk Hogan…I said it’s going to backfire and it’s going to be really bad…F*ck you. Hulk came up with such a phoney, bullsh*t match. The kind of match Hogan would dream up...He was a good guy once upon a time, but in the end he was a backstabbing, knife-wielding piece of sh*t." Hogan: "Bret got all up in my face and he got all riled. I said, ‘What’s up with this guy? I thought he was a team player, man.’ Vince made the decision, it’s just one of those things." @MensHumor An impoverished life builds character. sometimes we put too much value into the material. Think of Diogenes living in a gourd; no baths, stinky breath, totally content.

🚨 HULK HOGAN WAS TAKING “LETHAL” AMOUNTS OF FENTANYL DAILY — HIS PHARMACIST WARNED: “YOU SHOULD BE DEAD” Before his death, Hulk Hogan revealed what was really happening behind the scenes during his TNA run… • 80mg fentanyl tablets — multiple at once • TWO 300mg patches on his body at the same time • SIX 1500mg fentanyl “lollipops” in rotation Then came the warning from his pharmacist: “You should be dead. We have never seen a human being take this much fentanyl.” This wasn’t recreational. This was survival. After his divorce, he says he gave “everything” away to Linda… needed money… and signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) despite being physically broken. But the reality? His body was already shutting down. He couldn’t sleep in a bed, only in a chair. Even the smallest movement would trigger full-body spasms. So instead of stopping… he pushed through it. With fentanyl. At levels doctors say most people wouldn’t survive. This was happening while he was still being booked, still appearing, still expected to perform like nothing was wrong. One of the biggest names in wrestling… running on something that should’ve killed him. How does someone get pushed that far and no one steps in? 📹 - Joe Rogan / PowerfulJRE

@BBGreatMoments I loved Delgado, big fan, enjoyed him on the Jays for years, however he is by no measure a HoF'er, he misses on almost every front.

@iJordanMoore You say this almost like they weren't doing this the entire game, part of the reason he even had the opportunity to take a NONO into the 9th.

@BBGreatMoments By nearly no measure is Derek Jeter a top 4 shortstop in MLB history. Top 10, sure, but it's somewhere in the 8-10 range.

@AlTheBoss03 Ring count has never and will never matter in the argument with baseball. Basketball and Football can keep the ring count argument, it has not place in baseball.

@theaceofspaeder The rule has ALWAYS been that if any part of the ball skims the strike zone its a strike. I'm sorry if you haven't been paying attention for 125 years but this isn't new. What have you been doing? Spending to much time watching anime and chillin' on reddit?

If you give the pitcher the ball that skims the zone on both sides the strike zone is no longer 17 inches wide, it is effectively 19.9 inches wide. I’m sorry that none of you understand this, but I wouldn’t expect you to—you spend too much time on reddit and watching anime.
Ryan M. Spaeder@theaceofspaeder

You cannot give, in essence, an entire baseball outside of the zone, safe for a pubic hair, on both sides. That is my biggest problem. Still not addressing anymore meme accounts (directly). You are in timeout until 0800 EST tomorrow.

> Aubrey Plaza’s husband Jeff Baena died in January > She is now expecting her child from another man in April > So she must’ve gotten pregnant in July. > She didn’t even wait 6 months before getting a new partner and getting pregnant by him This is what modern relationships are like. Before, women used to wait a lifetime for their husbands. She should’ve at least waited a few years.
