I’m sorry you feel as though the other points are uneducated (although they are factual, so very educated lmfao), but yes, he would likely have to be successful here for that to happen. Although it wasn’t stated, my last point insinuates that *if* was he successful, he’d probably leave. And we’d have to do this all over again.

Mike Malone was a fantastic NBA coach, but the problems w/ the hire are that: - He has never once been a college HC. And has not been in the college coaching scene in over two decades. - He has not once had to (nor learned to) recruit and navigate recruiting. - He has not once had to (nor learned to) develop high school and college talent. - He has not once had to (nor learned to) navigate the portal, NIL, and college athlete attitudes. - He would likely leave for an NBA job the second one opens up, especially for a high-prestige job.

UNC made a big mistake in firing Hubert Davis after a tough NCAA loss. Now their options are dwindling. No Lloyd, no Donovan etc. He was a successful coach, honest, loyal, loaded with integrity, and he was fired. Here is a novel solution: rehire Hubert Davis.
