Final thought: the argument seems to be that "in the real world" (aka you lost the poll) people are selfish, and therefore you must press red. But... you also pressed red. Every red vote claims they are a victim of other red votes' selfishness. But nobody confronts this idea lol

@keyokkud Red button winning means you're left in a world with only the most selfish, least trusting of us. I ain't going there, bro. Blue button all the way.

But something don't make sense, it look like they were doing big games Metal Gears Solid, Silent Hill 2, Star Ocean and Shadow Hearts - a lot of PSX and PS2 classics. But then there is no PS3 or PS5 games at all, like they were outed, but then you can see resurgence in Indy Gaming. I wonder if someone is using "Old Studio" that went bankrupt and sold name to gain credibility.

100% But have you checked their website? They refer to companies they worked with as "Sacrifices". And they even mock everyone saying "Games we touched with our fingers" And Games list is quite big, from Silent Hill 2 to PS2 games like Shadow Heart 2: Covenant. We don't really know when they started inserting those weird agenda into translations, can we trust games we used to love like one of my all times favourite jRPG's (Shadow Heart 2: Covenant) to be correctly translated? This feels like tip of Iceberg and I am afraid to even look under the water....

Japanese companies need to start including accuracy clauses so they can sue if something gets butchered. This is all intentional, and it is all malicious. Localizers are the devil. Since the 80s theyve been left to their devices and to self police. The profession is tainted. It is unneeded in concept and it must be deleted. I would love for this filthy piece of shit company to be sued. Asking a small team to do that is unfair. Surely though localization companies could be sued? Or at least the service hosting the “new version”. It is false advertising to tell me im getting a story that is not the original.

I've seen many testimonies coming from China on YouTube where people explain that 99% of the population trusts their government. It's not like in our "democracies," where we don't trust anything the authorities say... and for good reason. In their case, the government lifted them out of poverty and turned the country into a modern nation in just the last 30 years or so. Of course they're going to trust them. They don't even have to propagandize much, they just have to say "vote red, it's for the better good" and the chinese people will just do that. The big mistake westerners make is that they think the whole world think like us... While in reality, we are only 15% of the world population and the other parts of the world each have their own way of thinking... Just imagine if every single mulsims votes red too because it will kill all the blue non beleivers...

I was initially a red button guy. Seems like the obvious, more intelligent choice. Everyone in control of their own lives. No one needs to die, just press red However there have been so many people arguing blue that it in turn makes them correct. Way too many people are going to push blue regardless so therefore blue becomes the correct answer
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

@SCHIZO_FREQ What I don’t understand is why 100% of people wouldn’t pick the red button. Doesn’t seem like an interesting situation if everyone can survive picking the “selfish” option.

People somehow don’t realize that posting about how you’d pick the blue button online is totally different than picking the blue button in real life There is no actual downside to posting online about how you’d press the blue button But if this example were made real life, pressing the blue button means actually risking your life Everybody can pick the happy chungus meme option when there are no consequences, but if you think the results wouldn’t change substantially if people were actually staring down the barrel of the gun you’re just retarded
Peter Hague@peterrhague

Amazing how lots of self appointed game theory experts confidently asserting that blue is the stupid choice. But every time this poll is run blue wins. Not only is the “game theory” answer predicting the wrong outcome, its explanatory power is based on it being able to predict the right answer. So it’s doubly wrong.

It’s also worth noting that red voters have a stronger personal need to be vindicated in this scenario (look at the replies…) and so are probably more motivated to vote in this poll.

@ChrisHowald @BlackDumpling The fact many reds are citing game theory as their logical basis and not any moral or ethical code indicates most you understand that it is in fact against your belief systems You just don't want to examine what that says about you

Publicly announcing I'm not responsible to keep stupid people alive doesn't confront me much. If you select the Blue button you do solely and exclusively to create a responsibility in others to preserve your life for you when you won't do it for yourself. That's not moral. You force an unnecessarily gutwrenching choice onto others just so you can smugly tell yourself you're their superior because you'd super duper save them if the places were reversed when... NO, you're the only creating risk for others to begin with. You had a chance to save everyone BY PICKING THE RED BUTTON. You elected instead to create a nightmare scenario for others. No one is compelled to press the blue button. No one. It is purely voluntary. Which means if you did you KNOWINGLY created a scenario where other people would have to risk death just to save you. You made the least moral choice possible and if you're willing to create a scenario that risks murdering billions then I have zero problem letting you go.
Unfathomable Studios@NfthmblStudios

publicly announcing you're a redbutton excises you from polite society, you might be useful 3nough to keep around as a side acquaintance, but now nobody can ever assume you'll do anything besides act to maximize your personal stake a stray flea-bitten dog, no more appropriate for an up and coming influencer

@CloudKenshiro @ErnestPlacido @christoaivalis @AbeLopezAuthor most of the countries in the world have an average iq 80iq or below which is already borderline mentally disabled. Picking blue assumes those people all of which live in third world countries actually care about anything beyond themselves in the here and now.

Rational people know intrinsically that everyone should press red, it eliminates any question of anyone dying Irrational (emotionally-driven) people will be compelled to press blue because “it’s the right thing to do” And the more you try to convince them otherwise the more they’ll dig in

@insertjokeh3r3 @CloudKenshiro @christoaivalis @AbeLopezAuthor Then I pick blue to avoid the societal and economic collapse that will come after then. S.Korea and Japan are struggling with slow and gradual decline in birth rate. An immediate change in demographics is sure to collapse society. That can't be fixed in your life time.
