Anyone getting benefits totalling over £12.5k per year in value should have to pay tax.
If the pensioners have to, and minimum wage workers have to then so should they.
There shouldn’t be a two tier system between those who work or have worked and those who have not

@GlenGoller Nope I was going too but I think £10k would be better spent on buying another cab putting it towards another cab I mean. Plus not heard of anyone who has had it done and how long the guantee would be on it

@London_W4 Those taxi rides are the best. So few and far between these days, tragically.
Even the Black Cab drivers these days are often gormless immigrants with little English who really do not know their way around London, let alone have a clue about our culture and history.

Just got home. Got a London black cab from Holborn to Little Venice with a driver called Steven. Really bloody good laugh the whole way. Proper Londoner who grew up on the Bantry House Estate opposite what is now Wetherspoons in Stepney. I told him I know someone who grew up there. Was a proper laugh like you used to get in a black cab. Really enjoyed that. Cheers 🥂
