Last I spoke to these teams, the legit ones were so profitable that they didn’t want to risk devaluing the brand or wasting time on a token. Similar mentality to the trading bots like Photon I’d be willing to bet 95% of new TCG platform tokens will be money grabs. Maybe 1 or 2 will successfully use a token to bootstrap liquidity and accelerate growth, but I wouldn’t count on it

oki so ive been hearing a lot about solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp idk if ppl are retarded or maybe i am but everyone keeps screeching about the revenue it makes vs it's current market cap like we're talking p/e ratios of some brick and mortar company imo it could make like $100m per day and be overvalued at it's current rate bc currently there is almost no correlation between revenue and the token it is very much a good business and it makes good money but we've seen time and time again that gud revenue does not equal gud token my understanding is the team has said they will be allocating some of the revenue back to the token at some point so you're basically speculating on how much they're going to allocate rev wise into buybacks. we've also played this game many times before. even if it's 100% into buybacks, a nice bit of crime can keep the token down as we saw w rollbit and pump based on current price action i would guess that either ppl have managed to convince others that revenue = token go up or that insiders are pretty confident in how much rev will go back to the token in the scheme of things i think it's a pretty reasonable bet and it's clearly a product with PMF. reputable ppl like it which is a green flag for me too, but the revenue is meaningless unless it goes back to the token or ig maybe it's not meaningless bc it can convince others that it is undervalued. not for me but can see the upside if the team become aligned with the token holders before unlocks kick in glhf

Pokemon price data is extremely messy. Listings often have things like: - Incorrect conditions - Misleading grade info - Card number mismatch - and numerous other edge cases So we've made some major updates to our algo to account for these issue and report on more accurate card values. Our markets pages got a little juicer. Let us know what you think.
