@RobertFreundLaw It's really giving Sharon Angle, "We wanted them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported." dailybruin.com/2026/04/21/dem…

@GregoryMcNeal @FoxNews The list you were handed was censored by the organizers. I don't think they even told you about that, tbh, I don't blame you. But I personally know of at least 6 Qs that were submitted but not asked, when (I think) you stated there were only 5 on your list that you didn't get to.

@GregoryMcNeal @FoxNews The event was explicitly advertised as having an audience Q&A. It was a bait and switch. Worse, it was done in secret. If I hadn't asked about the format at the beginning, nobody would have known—the question submission form didn't say it was supplanting the live Q&A.

No ICE, No KKK, No Fascist U.S.A.” NEW VIDEO shows profanity-laced chants filling the air outside UCLA while protesters inside heckle a DHS attorney speaking to law students. The agitators interrupted the conservative campus event by calling the guest speaker a “Nazi” and staging a walking out mid-speech.

@GregoryMcNeal @FoxNews What I see in that document is a sincere desire to ask the speaker hard questions. A desire which was thwarted when the organizers cancelled the Q&A just moments before the event began. Many of us were there to ask real, substantive questions. The organizers wouldn't allow it.

@DavidAFrench We came prepared with substantive questions. When it became clear that he would only take pre-screened, pre-submitted softballs (contrary to the clear language of the event invitation), we decided to leave.

@DavidAFrench Hi David, I'm the guy in the gray sweater and a long-time AO listener. I'd love to talk with you about this. The event organizers marketed the event as an opportunity to "ask your hardest questions, and make your case." At the last moment, they cancelled the Q&A.

This behavior is especially unacceptable for law students. What do they think? That they can interrupt and disrupt their opponents in court? Nope. They'll be forced to listen and respond with reason, not disruption.

Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

@Frenck @home_assistant I'd ask for a "blind" scene editing mode, so I could tweak a scene without throwing my whole family into chaos!

@Foone Revisiting this because I just realized that all sound gets encoded in compressed air as its final format...

@Foone This could only convert compressed air to unbalanced stereo, or to balanced mono. You'd need five pins for balanced stereo (L-, L+, R-, R+, Ground). Which is just as well, because encoding a stereo signal in compressed air might just reach the limits of Hismith's engineering.

An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A life for a life. Revenge makes the world a sick place. I will never understand these politicians who are so upset about the killing of children that they are ready to kill more children.

Thread: Last year, police arrested a Texas mom. They put her in jail. She lost her job. Her alleged crime: Leaving her teen daughter home alone. There are a surprising amount of disturbing cases like this that fly under the radar. Let's talk about them.
