@hirbod Thanks, appreciated! :) You mean expensive as in system resources? Not much at all. The system sends these filesystem events anyway, the app just listens for them. The processing of them is pretty lightweight, plus it’s all native Swift.

🚨 Check your GitHub repos - a malicious attack to add a crypto wallet stealer script has been launched - they are rewriting recent commits to land the script on main. Always a good time to double-check 2FA, SSH & GPG keys, branch protections, and authorized apps!

@mrousavy not only a crypto stealer, it's a full-blown infostealer & backdoor. with that payload alone there's more than 100 repos affected. no day without a JS supply-chain attack i guess

i am begging you do not do this. i did the same thing once. then i left my water bottle open in my backpack and fried it irrecoverably. lots of other bad things are also possible when you carry around a fragile $5000 object with you

@mrousavy I'm porting our frame processors to VisionCamera v5 right now and touching Nitro for the first time in the process. Always wary of additional dependencies, but Nitro is honestly *amazing* to work with, especially thanks to Nitrogen. Well deserved :)

Nitro downloads exploded exponentially (mmkv for comparison). While Nitro has been out for a little over a year, it almost caught up with the total weekly downloads of mmkv 👀

@valtism @dcrebbin_ @cursor_ai @zeddotdev They support other prediction models such as Supermaven and Codestral. Pretty sure you'd be able to fit another model in there with extensions (?). If not, you can still proxy requests to another endpoint using an env variable (though you’d be bound to Zed's payload structure)

I just found out that React Compiler won't be compiling your components if you manually use useCallback and forgot to add something to the dependency array I haven't tested this with useMemo but i assume it will be the same On the left count is missing in the dependency array, and the compiler won't compile the component On the right the deps array is correct and React Compiler works
