1/ One of Uber’s secret sauces is its ability to operate optimized digital marketplaces at scale profitably. A simple lever like directing Uber’s massive demand engine toward SpotHero can meaningfully accelerate topline growth in the US with minimal incremental CAC.
2/ SpotHero’s suburban footprint will fold into Uber’s ecosystem. Uber can now cross sell its other mobility and delivery services into a user base that skews suburban and car-centric. $DASH should be on notice as Uber pushes deeper into suburban share of wallet.
3/ Uber One will become more compelling. If parking gets bundled into the membership, that increases frequency, utility, and lock-in. The more daily customer touch points you control, the harder it is to churn.
