@realEstateTrent @TristenPalori Well you told us about Google Maps :)

@wabi build me an app that can let me prompt changes to my calendar, review the changes, and add/remove them from my calendar

@joepohlen So do you prefer the wedding venue or assisted living business?
English

I own a few wedding venues in Michigan. We will do nearly 300 weddings across all the venues.
July has moved quickly over the past few years from one of the most desirable months to near the bottom during our wedding season (May-October)
Which month do you think is the most popular?
Joe Pohlen@joepohlen
Few weeks ago, I closed on a 400+ person wedding venue. It's the third wedding venue in my portfolio. Wanted to share a few thoughts on the asset class and answer any questions you may have on it.

not a sponsored post or anything, but I have been absolutely loving @alexcodes_ai + 3.5
making iOS apps, esp with animations, has been so much more fun now

@jmj @JoshConstine Product updates x 1000000000 then GA so they can invite friends haha.
But I’m but a man with but a vibe
English

@omarsthinking @JoshConstine haha asking for invites or product updates? you now work for them 😂
English

@jmj @JoshConstine It’s unfortunately mostly what my friends open calls or hangouts asking about now haha
English

@omarsthinking @JoshConstine This looks very nice... I like the idea of personalized apps that you build for your close friends.
Feels even more special to be invited to join because the creator is hand picking them.

@JoshConstine @jmj Vibe coded this music sharing app for me and my friends!
whatsongems.com I’m @ hassa

@jmj There was just such an incentive for that music journalism when the blogs were the actual source of the music instead of just a link to streamers. I want the Techmeme/Hype Machine of every medium.

The reality of building web apps in 2025 is that it's a bit like assembling IKEA furniture. There's no "full-stack" product with batteries included, you have to piece together and configure many individual services:
- frontend / backend (e.g. React, Next.js, APIs)
- hosting (cdn, https, domains, autoscaling)
- database
- authentication (custom, social logins)
- blob storage (file uploads, urls, cdn-backed)
- email
- payments
- background jobs
- analytics
- monitoring
- dev tools (CI/CD, staging)
- secrets
- ...
I'm relatively new to modern web dev and find the above a bit overwhelming, e.g. I'm embarrassed to share it took me ~3 hours the other day to create and configure a supabase with a vercel app and resolve a few errors. The second you stray just slightly from the "getting started" tutorial in the docs you're suddenly in the wilderness. It's not even code, it's... configurations, plumbing, orchestration, workflows, best practices. A lot of glory will go to whoever figures out how to make it accessible and "just work" out of the box, for both humans and, increasingly and especially, AIs.

@aashaysanghvi_ A hilariously material counterpoint to extremely pervasive advice

Furthermore, I've seen many equal co-founding situations, but S-1s rarely reflect this.
Geoff Lewis@GeoffLewisOrg
Solo founder startups are systematically underrated. 2 founder startups are good. However, in majority case, more than 2 co-founders leads over time to intra-team conflict which leads over more time to decaying velocity and culture.
