Forced displacement is a war crime, and it’s becoming more of a risk. Only yesterday, the Israeli military called for the evacuation of the entire area south of the Litani River, approximately 8% of Lebanon’s territory and home to hundreds of thousands of people. Today, they issued displacement orders for all residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut, one of the most densely populated areas in the country.
