@tillathenun I’d say it was a fair opinion. Tesla offers a great solution to anyone who doesn’t want to plan journeys and worry about charging locations. As somebody who is good at planning journeys to provide pleasant charging stops it’s not going to compete with your bespoke functionality.

@KateFantom @PolestarCars @Tesla Yup, the lights in the model Y are terrible for other drivers in the UK. The super bright matrix zones don’t get out of the way at all.

After another frustrating day trying to animate objects in #FCPX I'm seriously considering trying @Blackmagic_News Resolve Studio. So tell me, how is key-frame based object animation in Resolve? What will I miss the most from FCPX other than PR RAW?

@pjoy @Blackmagic_News I very, very rarely use keyframes in Final Cut Pro. Adjustment layers with behaviours such as @Alex4D’s Grow/Shrink and SmoothMove are the easiest way to do things. Behaviours for the win!

@vimeo is there a way to stop the popup prompting people to download the vimeo app whenever they open a video url in a browser? It's really annoying as you don't need the app just to watch the video.

As on any road, if there’s the risk of a crash it’s prudent to apply the brakes. There’s also a big difference between allowing people to choose & forcing them to.

@evmanuk Yup, sentry mode is reassuring but losing a miles range for every hour the car is doing nothing is hard to ignore.

I’ve just done the sums on how much energy sentry mode uses per day (over 7-8 days whilst we were abroad). It’s using 5kWh per day!!!! WTF! And that was in a quiet long stay car park on floor 7, not a main road. #tesla #sentrymode

@SidneyDiongzon @Adamski I’ve tried a few and honestly if it’s really important not to have colour cast or cross pattern in shots then I’ll only use solid ND and ride the iris a bit for small adjustments.

I need a new ND filter that has minimal color cast. Any recommendations??

@pulpjedi @Adamski That doesn’t seem to be it unfortunately. Here’s a quick test I did, top block is a linear transform, middle is smooth transform and bottom is a distort. Notice how the distort has the most smoothing of all three.

#fcpx editors I need your help again. When key framing distortion on a clip FCPX adds easing at each key frame but it doesn’t seem to be possible to change it to linear like you can with transform key frames. Is there a way?

@pulpjedi @Adamski It certainly looks that way. I needed to key frame a perspective change on an overlay but distort makes the corners look like they are wagging with acceleration and deceleration in to each key frame.

@chrisfenwick I read a while ago it’s because the grid can’t handle or doesn’t need the additional power so they stop them because it’s easier than switching off a power station.

Does anyone know why when you drive thru an area where there are MANY wind turbines why they aren’t ALL spinning? I get it that few might be in need of repair but I doubt I’ve EVER seen more than half of them spinning.
