I would think that if it runs on Ubuntu 18.04 then Mate 18.04 should be fine.
According to @pearson 's website, Testnav installer 1.7.3 will run on @Ubuntu 18.04. If that is true, then it may be time to start the migration of our @AsianPenguinsMN laptops from 16.04 to 18.04. We'll try it on a few and see what happens!
