Filing a complaint against that brave woman in Worli is pure arrogance.A citizen stood up and asked questions to Minister Girish Mahajan while his party’s selfish protest choked Mumbai traffic for hours. Instead of apologising, they’re harassing her?Citizens are the real owners of this country — we have every right to ask questions. Politicians are public servants and must respect citizens’ comfort, not cause trouble to them. Stop this shameless bullying! #WorliTraffic #CitizenRights #Maharashtra #GirishMahajan

This is such a shameful decision. playgrounds should continue to be playgrounds and open spaces for the residents of the state and not become a contractor - sarkari mafia, that makes money off these open spaces. At this rate we won’t have playgrounds left in the state

Deeply anguished to learn of the tragic death of Nithin Raj, a young BDS student from Thiruvananthapuram, at Kannur Dental College, Anjarakandy. Audio recordings now reveal what his family has long alleged — relentless verbal abuse, casteist slurs, threats, and deliberate academic sabotage by faculty. A bright young life, extinguished by a toxic campus. This is chillingly reminiscent of the death of Sidharthan, another young student from Thiruvananthapuram. I had visited his grieving family after his tragic passing. In his case, it was student goons who drove him to his end, while a callous management looked the other way. Different perpetrators, same criminal institutional failure. These are not isolated tragedies. They are symptoms of a deeply diseased campus culture — one that preys on the vulnerable and shields the powerful. Nithin's family alleges he was mocked for his caste, his skin colour, his financial background. His internal marks were allegedly slashed as punishment. His mother's surgery was ridiculed in class. And when he finally dared to stand up for himself, a system that should have protected him failed him catastrophically. The suspension of two faculty members is a start — but nowhere near enough. I demand a thorough criminal investigation and full accountability across the college administration. How many Sidharthans and Nithins must we mourn before Kerala — and India — find the will to truly cleanse our campuses of this poison? Our institutions must be sanctuaries of learning and dignity, not arenas of humiliation and impunity. #JusticeForNithinRaj. Not tomorrow. Now. onmanorama.com/news/kerala/20…

In Hyderabad, a man’s bike was stolen 3 months ago from Habeeb Nagar area, he immediately went to the police station and filed an FIR, hoping they would find it soon Days passed… then weeks… then months, No update, Slowly, he accepted that his bike was probably gone forever Then today, something unexpected happened He received a traffic challan At first, he was confused, He hasn’t even seen his bike for 3 months… so how can he get a challan? Out of curiosity, he opened the challan details and checked the photo And there it was His stolen bike… on the road… being used normally. And the funniest part? The thief’s face was clearly visible in the photo, riding the bike like it belonged to him 😭 So basically, the police couldn’t find the stolen bike for months… but a traffic camera caught both the bike and the thief in one click 🤣 Hello @hydcitypolice

🚨 Shocking: Airport Smoking Incident A viral video shows a passenger, reportedly a Google employee, first caught smoking on the runway. When taken to airport staff, he lit another cigarette, blew smoke in an airline staff member’s face, and abused them rudely. Cigarettes and lighters are strictly prohibited as flammable items, yet they passed security — raising serious questions on security lapse. What is this? Complete lack of civic sense. Stricter enforcement needed.

Hyderabad-based paediatrician Sivaranjani Santosh, whose eight-year battle led to a key regulatory shift on ORS labelling, is now facing legal trouble after pharma majors issued a notice accusing her of making false, misleading, disparaging and defamatory remarks about their products. The development comes after the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), in an order issued in October 2025, stated that no food brand may use the term ‘Oral Rehydration Salts’ or ‘ORS’ unless the formulation strictly adheres to standards recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO). A cease and desist notice dated March 16 alleges that Dr. Santosh made defamatory statements on social media about products, including ORSL and its rebranded version ERZL. The notice states that the companies are science-based and compliant with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and asserts that their claims are backed by scientific evidence and regulatory approvals. Referring to ongoing regulatory and legal developments, the notice cites proceedings before the Delhi High Court, stating that the court had observed that the products in question were ‘not adulterated or unsafe for use’ and that the dispute was limited to branding aspects. The notice denies claims that erstwhile ORSL products continue to be sold or that ERZL is being marketed as an ORS substitute, stating that distributors have been instructed to return or relabel older stock in compliance with FSSAI directions. The companies have demanded that Dr. Santosh immediately remove all allegedly defamatory posts, refrain from making further statements against them or their products, and avoid unauthorised use of their trademarks. Responding through her Instagram page, Dr. Sivaranjani defended her position and questioned the legal notice. She said her position was consistent with and supported by the FSSAI orders issued on October 14 and 15, 2025 and added that the Delhi High Court had refused to grant a stay. She argued that presenting ERZL as a new form of ORSL would violate the regulatory directive and could confuse parents who previously associated ORSL with ORS.

Another shocker from a Mumbai local: a man casually throws a gutka wrapper out the window. When confronted, he shamelessly claims he “pays maintenance” so he can litter. What kind of twisted logic is that? How has this level of entitlement become so normal? This mindset is the real problem- how do you even begin to fix it?

Ladies be very careful while driving at night in bkc area from NMACC, there is a racket going on where a biker will come and hit your car from behind and then try to extract money via QR code . There are no cctv cameras and it is dark . Install dash cam’s and call 112 or 100, and only get out when a lady police is there . @MumbaiPolice @mid_day @TOIMumbai

India : Women teach the lesson to a devil trying to assault an underage girl. Sometimes you need to become Durga. Sometimes you need to become Harriet Tubman. Sometimes you need to become a Joan of Arc. Raise your voice and fight against injustice, this is the religion.

#WATCH | Delhi | Inna Makan, mother of the 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra, who died after being hit by an SUV being driven by a juvenile, says, "We didn't get a hearing today. We won't get a hearing. He's (the accused) been granted bail. A murderer has been left on the road, told to go kill others... Everyone has arrived in Uttam Nagar (Holi murder case). I live near their house, but no one has time to come to me... Those who are supporting me are receiving threats that if they want to keep their jobs, they shouldn't encourage me further... In the last few days, I've also learned where the father of the accused has reached through the approaches of the administration... The easy way out for the judge was to choose the easy way out... They are allowing crime to be committed under the guise of being a juvenile... That person isn't even supposed to be on the road. He doesn't have that right as per law... He was overspeeding and didn't even have a license. So many facts fell short in front of Section 12 (of the Juvenile Justice Act)..."

@anandmahindra @bose_bibu we can also rename Hanuman Nagar in the name of Sir or any name that Sir wishes. Anand Sir, this is not a simple issue. We are working class and struggling to reach our destination everyday. Sorry if tweeting and reminding you again and again disturbs you. Hope you are aware about the access road situation at your Kandivali East tractor division. Please consider our request to allow your heavy vehicle/machinery to enter from highway or at-least have some discipline while letting them in the factory.
