Story time
so some company ran a marketing campaign and gave money to all the big creators on X to comment under their post. Someone screenshot it and posted it, and now it looks like paid marketing, which isn’t allowed on X unless you disclose it. Nikita saw that post and removed them from payouts. Tomorrow is going to be crazy.

ok i have a very different experience / view regarding this; i do agree with most of the stuff , EXCEPT Bragging right :)
From what i have observed, no one gives a Sh*t about yr intern. They just say "Congrats" and move on. i have talked / milked my Razorpay intern numberios time on this platform and NO ONE has ever asked what i actually did there !!
But you as a person NEED to Flex / Brag about every little thing you do. That is how you market yourself.
The indian tech twitter is filled with engagement farmers. i would rather see people bragging about:
1) any small internship that u cracked / did
2) small OS contribution that u made
3) tried a crazy impossible shot and filed (message xyz types )
4) xyz number of DSA questions
5) xyz streak of what u studied / learned
hope fully made my point clear; Flex yr achievements. whatever they may be . Coz no one cares :)

Well, the whole point of an internship is to expose you to the world that you are supposed to step into AFTER the degree is done with. It is an example, or a trial of sorts, where you get to experience the nature of work that is possible beyond the boundaries of your college, and the employer gets to test out the quality of talent that shall be available for hire in the very near future. If you like it, good. If you don't, you have the option of resuming your studies without any significant harm done to your resume and early stage career. Of course, fair compensation for the work done by you is in due order. It is NOT a method for gaining bragging rights over anyone, as made out in Indian colleges.
