@DrDeepMD Agree with you statement but where does one find the optimal range?

The reference ranges on your lab report were not designed for you. They were designed around a population that includes: > Sedentary individuals > People with undiagnosed metabolic disease > Data from populations that do not reflect current chronic disease rates > Individuals at the median, not the optimal 'Normal' means you are like most people. Most people in America have at least one chronic condition. Optimal is a different target. Your lab report does not show you optimal. It shows you the average.

Major concert tours are cancelling because of unsold seats? Have they considered lowering the price of tickets from $2,000 or using someone who is not Ticketmaster for ticket sales?

Great post Doc. I’m currently at 6’1” and 219 at just under 17% bf. Got a little ways to go still to get to my ideal body comp but still making progress. Unfortunately I don’t think I have the genetics to ever look like the pics in your post. Of course those RBs aren’t in their mid 50s either

But I’m here to say, the most successful transformations I’ve seen are when we all sit with the data, do the math, understand reality, and plan accordingly Go get your DEXA And go dominate the week! Good luck 💪🏾

You are much fatter than you think This is my Monday PSA to get your DEXA scan A common archetype I see both in practice and life 6’ guy, 220-250lbs, states “I’m pretty healthy, but I know I probably have 10-15lbs to go” No. You don’t. You have much much more. How do I know?

I think any athletes best bet is training to improve general strength which means performing some variation of every movement pattern Vertical Push Horizontal Push Vertical Pull Horizontal Pull Squat Pattern Hip Hinge Etc After that, focus on sports specific training along with whatever conditioning is necessary There also may be a need for things like plyo / mobility

Gym bros My intuition is telling me that the overhead press is a great exercise for developing strength that maps to athletic movements–especially combat sports At the very least, WAY better than the bench press. What do you guys think?

Hey @panerabread who in your corporate office thought it was a good idea to separate every ingredient of your salads? If I wanted a build it yourself salad kit I would have made it myself at home. Long time customer…never coming back. Private equity destroys everything it touches…

Once you’re in your 40s it ain’t luck You’re either the fat guy talking about your junior year in high school when you went to the state championship or how you benched 3 plates in college Or you’re the jacked old dude the 20 year olds call sir and the reason they keep their pump cover on at the gym

I love my patients, truly I am so inspired by them, I get to learn from them, and we get to talk in long format for 90 minutes I learn everything about their lives, and they get to know me intimately We bond and connect, we laugh and cry, we celebrate and strategize THANK YOU There IS a way to do medicine right. There is a way to make it fulfilling to all those involved. There is a way to move metrics that matter. There is a way to connect deeply with other human beings. I’m so blessed and honored to do this every day To my patients - thank you, I owe you my life and I will be forever grateful that you have entrusted me with yours 🙏🏾

Your TRT clinic gave you an aromatase inhibitor. They just sabotaged your entire protocol. One RCT showed AIs erased every metabolic and body comp gain from testosterone. 4 major trials couldn't even define an 'ideal' E2 for men. 26 years on TRT. Zero AIs. Ever. Here's what the data actually shows: 🧵"

I started running a neurocognitive and sleep stack with epitalon and pinealon There is a long history of those of us in the longevity space experimenting on ourselves I think it’s incumbent on us before we discuss with patients Below is the best thread you’ll see on these 2:
drMAWZ@TheDrMAWZ

What if a 4–amino acid peptide could ‘remind’ your cells how to be young? Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide derived from pineal extracts, studied for effects on telomerase, melatonin, and age-related physiology in humans and animals. It behaves like a pineal signal that may nudge aging cells back toward youthful programs.
