Every story I hear from friends in Germany who built a house is an absolute horror story of delays, bureaucracy, dictator style Bauamt and endless failures and errors during construction. As my family and I and entertaining the idea of building a house for the first time, I need to hear from people who built in the last 5 years (and hopefully had a good experience). @TweetsOfSumit I hope you’re not building one of those boring „Stadtvilla“-Type House. I can highly recommend moving out of a big city. Cheaper land, cheaper build, better life for wife and kids, less crime etc.
