Official Statement: Postponement of the Event Hi All, We (organizers and sponsors) extend our sincere gratitude to all of you who have registered for the upcoming event. Your enthusiasm and participation mean a great deal to us. We wish to inform you that, in alignment with the prevailing Ebola health guidelines and after careful consultation between the bank and the event organizers, the decision has been made to postpone the event to a later date. We deeply regret any inconvenience this postponement may cause. The safety and well-being of all participants, partners, and staff remain our top priority. Despite travelling over 350KM for the KCB Schools Chess tournament, only for it to be postponed in the final hours, the Mitooma District based team from Holistic Junior School refused to let the day go to waste! They turned disappointment into opportunity and visited Wampewo Ntakke S.S in Kasangati for friendly games. Warmly welcomed by the hosts, the young players spent the entire day battling more experienced opponents and learning from every move. True love for chess always finds a way.
