The KCB Schools Chess Tournament 2026 was postponed on Saturday 13th June as a result of public safety concerns over Ebola. KCB Bank Uganda (@kcbbankug ) together with the organizers Brand Chess Life Academy Limited (@Brndchess1 ) and Duya Discoveries Limited (@Duyadiscoveries) are working closely with the Ministry of Health (@MinofHealthUG ) to align on SOP requirements for the new tournament date happening soon whose date will be communicated. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused and will ensure a great and memorable experience for the rescheduled event in a few weeks time in line with SOPs guided by the Ministry. Despite travelling over 350KM for the KCB Schools Chess tournament, only for it to be postponed in the final hours, the Mitooma District based team from Holistic Junior School refused to let the day go to waste! They turned disappointment into opportunity and visited Wampewo Ntakke S.S in Kasangati for friendly games.
