As a girls girl, I legitimately enjoy Sabrina Carpenter’s music. But ngl, she fully deserved this backlash. She has spent the past few years fueling the toxic online gender wars which has made her curate the most bottom of the barrel horrendous people to her audience… And those are the exact kind of people who will eat you alive at the moment you even slightly step out of line, or make a joke, or disagree with them on 0.1% of issues. People like to point out that childfree women have a slightly increased risk for breast cancer without mentioning they have ZERO risk for: - Perineal tears and fecal incontinence - Preeclampsia - Amniotic fluid embolism - Bladder, uterine, or rectal prolapse - Diastasis recti - Peripartum cardiomyopathy - Postpartum depression - Chronic pain from pelvic nerve damage Stop shaming childfree women and start appreciating that families come in many flavors.

@AHFemale8 @hell_line0 The point is that people shouldn't try to talk others into having kids if they don't want them. Yes childbirth reduces the risk of some things, but also increases the risk of others so we should just leave people to make their own choices.

@MCLuhan17 I always tell people the first like 3 months of my daughter's life are like a fever dream. 😅 I'm about to have my 2nd and I'm HOPING it's not as bad but I do feel at least a bit more mentally prepared.

I'd love to weigh in on the infant sleeping discourse, but whenever I try to remember the first 3 months of any of my kids lives I draw an absolute blank. not sure what happened there or have any advice really. I think I was around doing stuff but can't be certain
