Listening to Morrissey’s new album “Make-up is a lie” and it’s great. I’m a life long fan and while my Leftie mates postured about “separating his work from his far right views” my love for Moz never wavered. I’m thrilled he has managed to “un-cancel himself with the album currently in the UK Top 5.

I met the GREAT Neil Sedaka once. He came into the record shop I worked in with Elton John (who used to work at the same store).
It was 1973. I was knocked out by him (Elton was a regular). He was charming, humble and glad we knew who he was. He asked how his album was selling.
