I couldn’t believe what I got Codex to do after a major update from @OpenAI today. It may only be a task that normally takes me 5-10 mins a few times a month that I still do myself rather than giving to one of my assistants, but it showed the power of the new Computer Use and move away from being just a coding app. It will unlock the power of an expertly trained assistant at basically everything. Excited for what’s to come next with the updates. In the video I explain briefly what I got it to do for me today with reconciling client payments across multiple sources into our online portal. And it did it with 100% success rate and what I failed to mention in the video, it created a skill in Codex with instructions built for Codex so that next time it will do it even faster. Simply amazing! Thanks to @thsottiaux and the wider team working on Codex 🙏🏽

Can your team show a box after update to say what that update includes instead of currently relying on X or occasionally when they update the codex app page. It would be very helpful to not have to search around the whole app and settings each time to see if I can spot what’s changed.

I spent $15,000 on Full Self-Driving…because I believed what was being promised by Tesla, the Board of Directors, and Elon Musk, the CEO. Unsupervised driving. No hands, no constant attention. That was the expectation. But that’s not what we have. Years later, we’re still sitting in the driver’s seat, still fully responsible, still waiting. At some point, ‘it’s coming’ stops being reassuring, and starts sounding like an excuse. If a company charges that much upfront, there should be real accountability. Not shifting timelines, not vague updates, actual delivery. We didn’t pay for potential, we paid for a product. And right now…that product hasn’t been delivered.

Wow. FSD v14.3.1 drove me to 5 destinations that Grok inputted and navigated to with zero interventions. Tesla Self Driving parked and unparked at each of the 5 destinations. @Tesla_AI

NEWS: Tesla says that the RDW has communicated that FSD (Supervised) will be approved in the Netherlands on April 10th, which would clear the path for approval in other European countries. Tesla added that they've completed over 13,000 customer FSD (Supervised) ride-alongs over the past few months, as well as: • 4,500+ track test scenario executions • Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements • Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results It would be a huge deal if approval actually comes on April 10th. Fingers crossed!

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.  Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer. Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to: – 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads – 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs – 4,500+ track test scenario executions – Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements – Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point. We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

I'm on the pro plan and getting the same to be honest. I think they have a bug they've not identified yet. My weekly limits on Pro were done in just 3 days of just some bug fixes on one app last week. I've never before managed to use close to 50% of the usage limit on pro even with heavy use across multiple projects running at the same time. Or they've significantly reduced the limits for everyone. I've somehow used 12% of my Pro plan weekly limit after it reset yesterday in about half a day.

Burning credits in Codex while on a Pro plan after 100% of limits used in 3 days. Didn't think I'd ever see the day. Something is broken with it and I don't think OpenAi have realised yet but I need to get this done.

I've somehow burned though my Pro plan limits in <3 days on debugging of a small mobile app project. I've never previously got the Pro plan below 50% before when running multiple large code refactors at the same time. Usually the Plus plan will last me 4-5 days of normal use. Something is off for sure, I'm now using credits.

It has been light usage today and burned another 14% on the Pro weekly limit allowance. Down to my final 1% before it starts on the credits. Something is off with this. I've mostly been on either medium or high on standard speed today and have not been at it all day either, just some debugging. Something is definitely off with the limits atm @thsottiaux

Is something broken with the counting of token usage? I'm down to 15% left on the Pro plan in 3 days working on tweaking one app project. I've struggled in the past to use 50% of Pro limits in a week while working on multiple large from scratch builds. Usually on Plus that lasts me fine for about 4-5 days if I am using it the way I am now. 🧐

From the surge in demand on Codex and many other services, it is clear that AI companies are going to go through a phase of demand outpacing supply. Two things will be most important, having the most capacity and having the most efficient models. I believe we have both.

@thsottiaux Somehow 80% of my codex Pro plan allowance used in just 2 days 🤔 by far the most I've ever used even on the 7th day of regular use on the pro plan. Usually Plus plan lasts until the 4th or 5th day for me.

Our Codex dashboards are showing increased rate of users hitting rate limits and since we don't fully understand why I have made the cautious decision of resetting the usage limits for all plans. Enjoy. I also wanted to celebrate us finding a pocket of fraudulent accounts that we banned and have helped us regain some compute. The fight against abuse never stops, but it's important to mark the moment and make it a little shared victory.
