So the poster was lying because they said they only get the state pension and pay tax. Plus of course someone's income can be liable for tax. In this case if you earn more than that

Especially say a Trent who definitely prioritises going forward more than staying back whereas a full back either balances or is more defensive (eg Gary Neville)

Not sure it’s outdated at all, in fact two up top I would say has been phased out of the game. Look at all four divisional winner this season, all played 4-2-3-1 with wingers and a single striker. And in the final games of the season our best performances - Walsall, Accrington and Shrewsbury - all came playing a 4-2-3-1 with wingers and a lone striker.
