@FrostTheWizard @_Baratona @King_of_Vulpera Teldrassil was literally the source of life for the Night Elves, that's why Sylvanas attacked it. Not to mention it was their capital where the vast majority of their civilization was based. Not every Nelf was there, but a lot were and all of them were affected.

It was a civillian area first and a religious space second, its military application was defensive at best as the Night Elves only ever wage defensive wars. Not to mention, by destroying it Sylvanas was effectively trying to kill all the Night Elves.

@flyinbananacat @Wellthought7 From what I gather all the same stuff still "happened" the world/setting just re-adapted itself to the current situation (ie. no pochita) meaning that none of the events took place, but the consequences of those events still did. Time shenanigans are weird.
