@WolvesWin2022 I disagree. MM, who isn't a top 25 player in the league, is about to make 4yrs/4M. IMO it's the absolute best market possible for above average players. There will be several contracts where the consensus will be 'overpaid' (right or wrong)

@BetWNBA I think you're going to find a lot of above averaged to good players think they should be getting $900k but they were offered less ... then teams will move on their next option and they'll end up getting less than they were originally offered because of the frenzy.

My general Vegas thought: secure the big three for 3.5 (or less) and they're in really good shape to make another splash + round the roster out.
If A'ja does get the full super max (1.4), that's 2.1 to split between Jackie/Chelsea -- seems doable but we'll see

@MNWIBWM @mntwins020733 That's crazy. I totally would have expected the worst run franchise in the league, with one of the smallest capacities in the league, that was 24 games under 500 last season to be selling out. Let me know what they rank next year. I'm sure it will go up.

@JUSTQua Veags will be interesting to watch. The trio of A'ja, JY and CG will run at least 3.5M or 50% of the team sheet. I fully anticipate them to pay NS and DE (That said if others teams really want them, they can certainly offer more money). Then you pitch winning and amenities.

@e_sholler @413fx No, but if Chicago struggles to land anyone I can definitely see a 3 yr 2.5/3M deal. I also think her agent (and others looking to get paid) will have Pags on speed dial. Getting in first will prove profitable imo

@sohali2012 Regardless of building around her, she was HUGE value as the 7th pick, not to mention her fanbase/marketability. These are things that even mildly-functioning franchises embrace

@OHSportsGirl It's funny, I wrote 6th bc I had her going to DC in my final 24 mock.. but she didn't drop in the draft, it was just a loaded draft. She had lower trade value bc every other team knew she was leaving in 2 years so Chicago risked losing her for nothing if not unloading her now

@BetWNBA Angel was drafted 7th by the Sky with their 2nd First Round pick.
She dropped in the Draft because organizations didn’t want her based on her personality. They knew she was available for trade and those same organizations passed on her again —she had a very low trade value.
