TAO spot ETF filing is validation but the real bottleneck is zero US exchange support. no coinbase, no kraken listing. BTC and ETH both had full US custody infrastructure before approval. the leading indicator isn't SEC feedback, it's whether a US venue lists TAO in the next 6 months. that's the trade signal

Yeah we've actually had the code for this for a while, it's just so easy to game because our LP is deep (ie go stake, a lot even, use whatever you want, unstake, lose almost nothing in slippage/etc). Need some sort of historical metric or holding period before it unlocks or something, still not sure what an ideal solution looks like.

In case you missed it, all payments in tao (we also accept any other subnet alpha token via stake transfer) are autostaked and burned, and we even randomize amounts and times and add the anti-mev bot encryption stuff.

@jon_durbin Have you considered the model where if you are an 64 alpha holder you get x% free compute/day (based on your holdings). I think that it is how Venice does it. I don't know how sustainable it is but getting compute just for holding an alpha position would be cool.
