@Bjuglez2 oh it's because it was initially an MMO, 100% It was announced as an MMO in 2019 and they pivoted, which is why there's slice of live mmo systems

Crimson Desert has more things to do than any other single player game I've played, ever. So much to discover. People will be finding things for months..... maybe Xenoblade comes close? That being said - I wish they had put more into voicing the main character. The amount of other VA's in the game is nuts, and every single NPC you do stuff for has full dialogue and engages with you appropriately. Kliff just then goes "Yeah" or "Okay" to massive exposition drops and key things. I hope they go back and patch in TONS more lines for him in the future. Can tell it was an MMO made into a single player game... How many of you are still doing 100% of Hernand and haven't even started another area yet? Lots of friends are like 40-50 hours in.. still doing Hernand. Huge RDR vibes.

@NikTek there isnt an easy solution to this. there needs to be a trigger for this for resource mangement purposes. Either a timer or a trigger box around the teleporter. if they just shorten the time you will se fragments once you spawn destroying your immersion

Oh my god, I just tested this out myself and its actually insane how Crimson Desert makes you wait a whole transportation sequence to go to another location. If you stand on top of a teleporter and fast travel to another teleporter it gets you there almost instantly. However, moving just a few steps away and traveling back to that same teleporter, the game makes you sit through a whole cutscene which takes approximately 15 seconds to finish. The developers should get rid of this ASAP, it looks cool for the first time you do it, but I would much rather take a quicker load screen than watching a cutscene every time I fast travel...

Crimson Desert needs a button to make the bounty target stop talking. Hearing the same two lines every few seconds as we ride 4,000m back to town is maddening! 😭

@BonafideXP @CrimsonDesert_ Theres also items that show secret caves and locations on the map if u use them. After you do there is no indication for showing if you actually have been there or not which is infuriating.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want to activate all the bells, so I can actually see where I’ve been on the map…?

I'm gonna say what we all think (minus the radical left wing cultists). That is not Snape. It's really that simple. A White blonde dude would not be Blade so this dude is not Snape.

This is like complaining about rage games having bad controls. The bad controls were put there intentionally for it to be a rage game. Take the tank controls from a horror game away and its not as intense anymore and really just becomes an action game with the only difficulty being resource management.

It needs to be said: Tank controls for controlling a character are just bad. People aren't tanks. Just because you got used to the bad controls doesn't mean they aren't still bad.

@GHBSmith I just cant seem to understand why they added a helmet for this. Easily could just have a button to view the memories without it likebother games do. It is hilarious tho and so stupid to look at which is a plus i guess. 🤣

This is the Visione helmet. A vital piece of equipment in many of Crimson Deserts story and side quests. It allows players to view visions from the past. Its other use is making the player look like an absolute idiot during cut-scenes when they've forgot to take it off.

@derekbwriting We already have the movies. Why they decided to make this so soon after the movies is beyond me. Shouldave made a spinoff show instead about something else in the hp universe.

Let's be clear. There's a lot of issues with this HBO Harry Potter series. Extra unnecessary added details, pointless raceswaps of minor characters that I, like many other Potterheads, could have overlooked. But Black Snape is such an insulting slap in the face it's a 100% deal breaker.
