@lawsoncrusade @elonmusk I requested the video from Tesla right after it happened. Haven't heard back yet. I will absolutely post it if I get it. I didn't go through insurance because I'd rather pay 930 out of pocket than pay a 500 deductable and make a claim through insurance.

Bro, I learned my very expensive lesson paying $930 bucks for a new windshield today. I cancelled my FSD subscription so I don't have to worry about this again. I feel bad for the next person who gets decapitated when they don't supervise fast enough to stop their car from aggressively driving into a blocked off HOV lane.

I called them right after it happened. After speaking to CS I realized I was on my own. I have no angle, I'm just disappointed. What was more upsetting to me was how little they cared about the dangerous behavior. There's thousands of Tesla owners driving down that stretch in FSD every day. I can't imagine this is going to end well if they don't fix this.

@BlockchainRob_ Sure but man it happens all the time. People post on X that FSD got them in an accident then later we learn that the driver was lying, either as an attack on Tesla or to get to get free repairs. Hard to trust you with zero proof

I didn't think it would record over in the hour before I got home. I was in traffic on 95 and I just wanted to get home. And from what I've read after the fact, if it picked up as an incident, it would've saved the recording automatically. I have no reason to lie about this. If Tesla GAF about this they would've GAF about it when I called them last night.

@BlockchainRob_ The rep would have never known you have a 20GB (or less) USB in your car. Most of us have at least a 512GB. The Tesla rep even gave me a 512 one when I got my car.
