@BreadBreakJC @JeremyBranham @TexansCommenter I mean he was elite in deep throws in ‘23, bad in ‘24 and slightly above avg in ‘25. The point I’m making though is that the offense will be heavy run 1st. Thats the identity they preach, anyways. That, will impact volume. So, with less volume = less counting stats/$ generally

If the players are right, it's going to cost Caserio a pretty penny to extend him next offseason instead of this offseason. ...but do y'all trust Stroud?

@BreadBreakJC @JeremyBranham @TexansCommenter I disagree. The Texans don’t need a QB to throw for 4k yards. They want a competent game manager who can take accurate shots down the field when the D focuses on the Run. The Seahawks just won a SB w a QB like that. That’s how the Texans will run the Offense imo

@JeremyBranham @BreadBreakJC @TexansCommenter I totally agree w you. QB contracts are expensive. That’s why I think you can believe that CJ is “your guy” and still take this to next off-season. But your guy being top 5 and being ~15 is different.

@BreadBreakJC @JeremyBranham @TexansCommenter I’m not advocating for an ext. I’m just saying that CJ AT BEST is probably top 5-10 QB. At worst he’s probably 15-20ish this yr. Mostly likely outcome imo is that he’s middle of the pack. Idt that’s moving the price for CJ significantly.

@BohemianHTX @JeremyBranham @TexansCommenter If he, by some God given miracle, becomes a franchise QB in one off season the 5-10m you save would be irrelevant. You're not losing anything by waiting. Whatever he gets paid will be worth it. If he sucks, you just wasted 50m a year or whatever the price tag is.

@JeremyBranham @TexansCommenter U keep saying “truly convinced” but idt it’s binary like that. Clearly CJ left something to be desired w how he finished. Idt thats debatable. So - you can maybe save like ~$5-10m per if you extend this season vs wait? Theres logic to extending AND waiting.

Donald Trump is not himself the disease of our politics. He's just the worst symptom. The disease is the system that allows corporations, special interests, and billionaires to buy and sell politicians to rig the system against us. It's the reason we pay more for the stuff we gotta buy, get paid less for the work we do, and watch as our tax dollars buy bombs and tanks for other countries rather than schools and healthcare for our own. If we're serious about taking it on, we need to get money out of politics, put money in your pockets, and pass Medicare for All.

Remember this is a "vaunted" and "generational" Texans defense until Drake Maye beats them with a 33 year old WR1

@MasterWayne93 @TexansCommenter @chasing10fishin As an offense*, defense was the only reason it wasnt a blowout. But regardless, Stroud does nothing special to elevate those around him. Hes not that accurate despite the narratives, hes an okay athlete, has a decent arm, panicks under pressure, slow to diagnose post snap.

We gunna be the reason we win this game.’ He literally tells me that every game. Obviously we didn’t get it done this last game, but both of us was wreaking havoc.” “Y’all not why yall lost last game, tell yall that.” -Myles Garrett

@MasterWayne93 @TexansCommenter @chasing10fishin Yeah, situation couldnt have been much worse. Not an excuse for having one of the worst two game stretches of all time. Pats game and a single botched snap from Andrews which was recovered anyway made people forget he turned the ball over 3 times vs Steelers.

@offwhitesnow @calvinfroedge Everyday Americans never wanted this from the beginning. You have a bilnd hate for the American people which makes you ignorant. Its no different than any other country with a government not being a true representation of the people. But yeah, ha ha Americans losing so funny.

@calvinfroedge Americans only holding this view in a war they’re losing, and ignoring the atrocities they committed against other countries is hilarious. The US has been and is still destabilising nations for their own benefit, just so happens they were unsuccessful in Iran.

@calvinfroedge Joe Kent left for a reason. I think Tulsi Gabbard was a patriot despite what people say and realized it was better to separate from this mess from her position and just go be with her sick husband. There are definitely those that are for the people.

There have to be people in the American government still, especially in the military and intelligence agencies, that are patriots, that see that war with Iran is not good for our country, and that Israel is putting us in that war.
