how I actually spend my time as a solo founder: - 5% writing code - 12% debugging code I didn't write - 8% reading documentation at midnight - 15% convincing myself the idea is good - 18% finding people who have the problem - 10% writing tweets about the problem - 20% worrying the product isn't good enough - 7% questioning all decisions - 5% "why is that doing that" spiral - 0% sleeping enough

Check to see if your SaaS/App API is leaking sensitive information: Your API endpoints need authentication checks on EVERY route that returns user data. Not just the ones you think are sensitive. ALL of them. I've seen vibe-coded apps where [/api/users] returns every user's email because the AI generated the endpoint without an auth check. Test every API route by calling it without a login token. If it returns data, it's broken.

@rcmisk 1. Keep Reaching out to people on X via post or DM people that follow you 2. Post on Reddit 3. Optimize your website (huge because if you manage to get people on your site, you better have a good and seamless conversion flow)

GPT-5.5 randomly got faster today? Because I’m not in fast mode and it’s flying. Did anyone else notice that?

🚨 Google × Pentagon Google just signed a classified AI deal with the Pentagon. "Any lawful government purpose." That's the language in the contract. Mission planning. Weapons targeting. Classified networks. Google also agreed to adjust its own AI safety settings at the government's request. The deal gives Google zero veto power over how the DoD uses it. Anthropic held that line. Kept its guardrails on autonomous weapons and domestic surveillance. The Pentagon blacklisted them for it. Now Google, OpenAI, and xAI are all in. Anthropic is out. And the US government just learned which AI labs will bend.

DeepSeek's tactics are amusing "OK, you don't think reliable 1M context, fast, for pennies, at top-tier open source intelligence, is cool enough? Have a 75% price cut. Not entertained? Have a ≈free cache. Still meh? How about vision?" I wonder if they're out of rabbits

How I got to 500 followers in 7 days Thinking about publishing a full breakdown of that With my real stats, posts, and replies Here's what I want to cover → Does self-replying increase impressions? → What topics performed best? → How did I write my hooks? → Does post length matter? → Do question posts actually help? → Does replying under big accounts work? → How much time per day does it actually take? → Does my writing style matter? → Am I actually providing value or just noise? → Do community posts help growth? I'll make my personal stats fully public so you can see exactly what I did: posts, replies, impressions, engagement, everything. No theory, just data from a real account starting from zero. Would you be interested in this? And is there anything else you'd want me to include? 🧡

Being loyal to one AI is another form of laziness. Every AI model as of right now is insane and it’s clear they’re all diverging into a specific skillset (claude with coding, chatGPT with execution, Gemini with frontend, etc) You have to take the time to understand each of their strengths and how to build a system that plugs all the models into one workflow.

Solid prediction. For anyone trying to get cheaper infrastructure for near same quality (i’ve tried this): Get Claude to do your SOP (a step by step that includes the code bodies), get Codex to execute, get Gemini to do the API calls. You don’t need Opus 4.7 for every API call if you’ve built a solid database and pathing for gemini to basically just read.

GPT 5.5 thinking is interesting but it is too expensive in the real world. Opus 4.7 is dead on arrival PREDICTION: The new Gemini will become the most used model by the end of May
