TLOU2, mega blockbuster sequel, costing 10x more to make, in its first 6 years...managed only 10-12 million.

TLOU2 sold record numbers in the first week based on the first game, and the reason the tail is weak is because people played it and didn't recommend it to their friends.

@JohnnyGaming9 @burnaway_hill It's easy to work out - it's a physical copy, and retail typically takes about 30%, and distribution a further 10%. Together, maybe Sony and ND get between 50-60%.

@BustinChops7 @burnaway_hill I dont think your math is very good. The game sold 4 million in its first week. Multiply by 60 bucks thats 240 million. It made profit in its 1st week. And u are comparing sales of part 1 since 2014 of 12 years compared to part 2 2020 6 years. Half the time. Let this go.
